Electrolux just announced that its North American headquarters will be moving from Augusta, Georgia to Charlotte, North Carolina. GE Creating New Jobs

GE has chosen Louisville, Kentucky as the site of its new plant to manufacture “smart” laundry units. This is on the heels of the announcement last month of their new water heater plant, also located at their so-called “Appliance Park”. These two announcements will create more than 800 jobs by 2012.
